About Chef Taz and The Market

I started in the food service industry in my early twenties where I worked my way up to an Executive Chef position years later. Recently I met and then worked for Executive Chef Scott Lecrosse where we collaborated later decided for my Wife and I to open a pop-up restaurant/ catering business. My Wife and I our Vendors at various Farmer’s Markets in the greater Sacramento area. We currently attend Greenhaven farmer’s market on Sundays at the Elk’s Lodge #6 where we decided to launch our foodie market with the help of Vic Cima.

A concept turned into reality. As a native to the Greenhaven/pocket area and a pop-up vendor myself, I always had this concept to bring the community together with food. What better way than to have an outdoor foodie market where people can bring friends, family and our furry kids to one spot every week. I have compiled a group of food trucks and pop-up vendors of all cultures for the public to experience different tastes from all over world. In collaboration with the Elks lodge #6 I want to bring the community much closer and let everyone enjoy a different but unique pallet where they can try something new each week.
